The perfect carbon fiber weave is finished in a stunning glossy clearcoat and includes all the factory bevels and fittings making it a perfect fitting direct replacement for the Porsche’s part. But it’s what you can’t see that makes the Werks1 Y-pipe actually perform better than the original. Because it’s constructed of 100% carbon fiber rather than a cosmetic overlay, Werks1 was able to make the outer dimensions of the Y-pipe identical to the factory part, while using thinner walls that actually increase the inner diameter by up to 10%. This increase in inner diameter allows a greater amount of air to flow to exactly where it’s needed most, the engine.
