Porsche Boxster S & Cayman Front and Rear Performance Brake Rotors
The 987 Boxster and Cayman have legions of loyal owners, many of whom regularly track their cars. Anyone who tracks their car (even rarely) or takes the occasional spirited weekend drive knows that it’s only a matter of time before the factory cross-drilled brake rotors begin to wear heavily, and sometimes even crack from the pressure.
The GiroDisc 340mm (front) and 325mm (rear) 2 piece slotted rotors are an easy and direct replacement for the factory 317mm (F) and 298mm (R) rotors, while still using the factory calipers to their full potential, including full e-brake functionality. They feature anodized 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum hats to help reduce the heat transfer to critical parts such as wheel bearing or wheel hub carriers. The proprietary cast-iron make-up and 32-vane design of the slotted rotors themselves provide much greater cooling efficiency while increasing rotor life by 3-4 times the original rotors. Every piece of these rotors is designed with improved function in mind. Even the spring washers are made of a high temperature allow that ensures rattle-free performance even after track days or other aggressive driving situations.
