Porsche recently set a new world record for the longest electric vehicle drift. Although BMW still holds the record for the longest drift in a gas-powered car, Porsche took a more eco-friendly spin by attempting it in a rear-drive version of its Taycan EV, which it currently sells in China.
The record was set in Hockenheim, Germany, at the Porsche Experience Center. Instructor Dennis Retera took a wet radius skip pad with a range of 200 meters (about 656 feet) on a Taycan and drifted it for fifty-five mints. Retera covered 25.2 mi [...]
